I am originally from the UK but have lived in Hobro, Nordjylland since 2005. I've always tried to find out a lot about the history of wherever I have lived and Jylland is no exception. 

This website is an attempt to use the internet to highlight some of the history of local towns and cities for the benefit of future generations. So if you live in any of the towns featured, it would be nice to see images of how some of the locations look now for some then and now comparisons.

The books for sale on this site are developed by me but sold by third party suppliers. If you order a hard copy, it will be printed on demand especially to fulfill your order. Hence the higher price than on normal books.

This site is not intended for profit, and the images are presented purely from a local history point of view.  Copyright has been a hard issue for me to investigate, but EU law indicates that copyright expires on postcards after 50 years of publication. Hence I only included images older than that. Hopefully you can appreciate the spirit in which this site was developed, but if you do hold the copyright to any of these images and want them removed, let me know and I'll apologise and do so immediately.
